Although being told several times that I should be a healer (once by a person I didn't even know!)
I was reluctant to start on a journey I had no understanding of.
Then my Father became terminally ill and spent his last few months in a wonderful hospice, filled
with laughter and love.
During this period I became fascinated by the visiting healers, the remarkable effect they had
and the peace they gave. From then on I decided to give into my destiny.
I spent the next two years training as a healer with the Sussex Healers Association and became a
full healer, following my final assessment.
My particular interest in cancer care continued and I became an approved volunteer therapist with The Olive Tree
Cancer Support Charity in the summer of 2006.
Having decided I would also like to study massage, in particular Indian Head Massage, I researched the Practitioner courses
available. I took the British School of Yoga as it is very traditionally based. This fitted very well as I am a student of
philosophy, with an interest in Ayurvedic, and a regular meditator. I am a meditation/relaxation teacher, something
I have 20 years experience in.
My passion for what I do goes beyond words and I believe that transmits to the level of service I give
to my clients. I would be delighted if you would give me the opportunity to prove this.

I have been curious in hypnosis ever since I was a small child. I never lost the interest,
but I didn't look into it for many years.
Having suffered from a needle phobia in the past I know how debilitating it can be. After
suffering for a few years with it I decided to go and see a hypnotherapist to get myself
sorted out. I have to admit this was after my local doctor tried to cure me of my phobia
by repeatedly placing syringes in front of me! I was quite amazed that following a couple
of sessions I was able to bear the sight of needles and even stand to have them inserted
into my arm. I wasn't free of my problem completely, but at least was more in control of it.
I had hypnotherapy a few years later to help me give up smoking and was amazed again with
the results. How easy it was to give up when you're able to determine the root cause and
remove that reason for smoking!
I decided then to take a weekend course in hypnotherapy, during
which I learnt the basics of hypnotherapy (not enough to
practice, but a great weekend).
Finally I decided that it was time to extend my knowledge and
gain a proper qualification so that I can help others overcome
issues they may have. I looked about on the internet for
training companies, and started to read more about hypnotherapy
and Neuro Linguistic Programming, or NLP. I found a great
training company in Brighton, East Sussex (NLP
World), and decided to do my NLP, Hypnotherapy, and Time
Line Therapy™ practitioner course. As I'm sure my
colleagues from the course will attest, all I can say is "Wow"!
What a brilliant course, and an amazing way to be able to help
people.
Having qualified as a practitioner I started up practice with
Amanda, and signed up for my Master Practitioner course with NLP
World, which I will be commencing shortly.
I hope to meet some of you readers soon, so that any problems,
negative emotions, limiting beliefs that you have can be
resolved quickly, and above all painlessly!
